As long as you stay on the program for at least two months, you should be able to cancel without paying any type of penalty if you need to cancel after month 1 I mention one way to avoid the penalty in the review above , and customer service has always been very easy to deal with when I have needed to call them.

I live in Ottawa Ontario Canada. Where in Canada can I join. Are the costs of the meals increased to take in the difference between the American and Canadian do. I have limited freezer space and feel that the frozen foods would be the way for me to start and continue a controlled size appropriate diet.

Does anyone offer three or four shipments monthly? If you get the Basic plan none of the foods are frozen, so that may be another option you could consider. Plastic found in a dinner entree. It was very nice to see! I can't remember when this happened, maybe weeks ago. I thought the response took longer than it should have. Really tho', I've had great customer service every time I needed them. Wait times when phoning are awful.

I am very happy with the 30 pounds that I have lost. I love your food and do not want to totally stop my program. I am working with adjusting to everyday food lifestyle. But yet, I do not want to give up my program. I believe this will keep me on track with keeping my weight under control. Thank you for my delays in my order. I tried Nutrisystem and found out I am allergic. I tried returning the items as they indicated there was a full refund policy, and they told me I couldn't.

I called over seven times during the next 30 days and they were not cooperative or helpful at all. I got transferred around many times, and never had any help at all.

I ended up moving, and canceled my card. Two months after that they tried charging my credit card and claim they shipped product, which I didn't order. I never received product because I had moved. Very poor customer service! They try and snag you in and force you to keep buying, even if you don't like the product and even if you are allergic to it!

I have told a lot of people about this horrifying experience and they are all appalled and said there are much better programs out there! We are sorry to hear that you are unable to eat our food and we apologize for the poor service you've received. We will be looking into this and reaching out soon. My NuMi bottle issue was already taken care of. He therefore missed the window to order the bottle in time for the 2nd month shipment. We would like to have it delivered with the order that is coming up for the 3rd month - we get auto delivery, so it is already set up.

Most of it tastes the same to me and actually upsets my stomach. I did not realize I only had two weeks to cancel and much of that was mostly drinks.

Then you keep trying different food thinking something will be edible. I know there is plenty of fine print in contracts that should be read. I do not recall being verbally told about these conditions. This was a lesson that left a very bad taste in my mouth. We are sorry that the foods upset your stomach and that you were unaware of the auto-delivery nature of the program.

Not clear when I ordered that it would be on automatic order. Food is not good, not good instructions, dinners were bland. Too many entrees with spicy tomato sauce and cheese, dinners are bland. This is a follow-up to the review I posted on September 5. Soon after I posted my first review, a rep from Nutrisystem contacted me via email. The email was courteous, professional, and apologetic for the experience I had. The rep went on to offer replacement of the damaged food items I had received and encouraged me to give their company another try. In light of this swift response and their sincere desire to ensure that I was happy with their product and service, I am revising my review.

I accepted a ready-made menu that containing some items that I did not enjoy. In the future, I will make a point to select food items that I now know to be more to my liking than others. I am very pleased and heartened by Nutrisystem's timely reply and concern for my purchase. They deserve a second chance. I ordered my month's supply of diet food from Nutrisystem with high hopes. When the food shipment arrived, most of the frozen breakfast items were broken into small bits; when I opened the packages, the bits fell out.

Then I tried the frozen lunches. Since I take these to work, the only heating option is microwave. Anything with bread or chicken comes out chewy, gooey, and icy cold in the center. It actually made me gag and lose my appetite, which wasn't the diet plan I expected. I am very careful when reading agreements, and for this item to be overlooked was no easy feat. Fineprint at the end will do that to you.

To add insult to injury, the obnoxious customer service person on the phone refused to accept my cancellation until she badgered me with questions and hard sell tactics in a desperate attempt to keep me buying their awful food.

Was not satisfied with the taste of most of the foods, had to throw it away and buy something else, and most of the desserts had an ok flavor, And a lot of meals with cheese.

I was not happy with that. My first order included items I didn't order and one that I'm allergic to its ingredients. I was told by one person the items were probably substitutions and when ready they would be replaced. When I called the customer service lady was very rude, basically stated I was lying and wouldn't allow me to speak to a supervisor.

I'm very disappointed with the service I receive so I will take my business to a place that has better customer service. Went thru a few months of products. Following it closely and exercised Sent email to customer support and I was told to think of it as not wasted but I received nutritional food with fiber Now I know why it only got one star.

I also included to them pictures of the moldy carrot cake, along with the packaging that states the date is still okay. The oatmeal is so stale it sticks to the side of the package and had to pour hot water in the bag to get the product out.

Chocolate covered pretzels are stale. We did call and the rep was very nice and stated that she couldn't do anything except replace our stale food. How many packages were bad? I honestly didn't count how many items I threw awayat their prices ANY wasted product is too many!

Doesn't anyone there want to see a photo of the stale food? Does anyone there care? VERY poor about keeping the customer happy, however, are not timid about selling you the program. Shame on you, Nutrisystem.

I decided to measure instead of weigh. Then there was still the money issue. There were other saving options out there as well, like a Nutrisystem promo code for existing customers. By the 3rd month, I had lost even more weight and people were starting to notice. I was getting a lot of compliments. I bagged up the clothes and donated them to the local Good Will. The weight loss is real to me now. Let me give you some brief Nutrisystem food reviews.

Every month I would log onto my Nutrisystem account. From the menu options, I would pick 28 foods of my choice for each of the four meals which included breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. The choices were easy as I loved almost everything they offer. The plan I chose, which is the Core plan, only includes the shelf foods instead of the frozen varieties.

I got to have delicious foods such as doughnuts, pancakes, chocolate muffins, pizza, hamburger, chicken and even cake and brownies. With all the choices, it never gets boring. The meats in the shelf items are conveniently packed in a vacuum sealed wrap but were tender and taste like they are right out of the deli.

With so many varieties, I ate something different each day of the week. It was just perfectly pre-portioned meals to keep me on a healthy track. The food contains no trans fats, and it's low in sodium. And the carbs it contains are of low glycemic index. This is why Nutrisystem food prevents fatique, reduces your appetite, keeps you fuller and energized for longer. It's safe for diabetics, too. As you will probably read in other Nutrisystem weight loss reviews, the taste is not the only thing great about Nutrisystem foods.

Each meal is individually wrapped with cooking instructions which made it easy to toss in my purse and go to work. Some of the meals are easy enough to eat while in the car. When I hear people talk about that pound cake they made the other night or watching those Tasty videos on Facebook, I am not fazed.

I stopped going to buffets and doughnut shops. I do not have the appetite for those places any longer. People have asked me how do I stick to the diet during holidays or when family decides to go out to eat. But I can say I now have control. I allowed myself to enjoy all the foods that were offered. However, since being on Nutrisystem, I have a pretty good idea on the right foods to stay clear of, and how big of portions I should have.

I even enjoyed some bacon, a piece of cheese cake and a peep. The day after that Easter, I was nervous about stepping on the scales. A few weeks later, I had a birthday and, well, you know how that goes. I ate cake but just a small piece. It was somewhat of a struggle, but again, I have learned to eat small portions. The biggest struggle was everyone trying to get me to eat more.

People think that since you lost a few pounds, you can go back to eating the way you used too. Then there was a trip to the beach. I snacked on lots of fruit and veggies. I felt good about myself. The weight loss slowed down. Sixteen weeks had passed. It had been a fun journey. My weight loss had slowed down to losing an average on one pound a week. It was better than a gain. I wished to lose more. I called and talked to a Nutrisystem counselor.

I was eating every three hours. It seems like a lot of food but the snacks are tiny. Small amounts of healthy foods. My weight loss stalled for a couple weeks. I was warned this could happen but I was still a little discouraged.

I called a Nutrisystem counselor again. They are always so helpful. They suggested I change things up a bit. The also advised me to eat more. I was also advised to make sure I drink enough water. My weight loss took off again and the pounds started dropping again. Who knew that more is sometimes less? The hardest thing for me to give up when I started Nutrisystem was bacon. I would eat five or six pieces without even thinking about it. I am actually allowed two slices of bacon a day as a power fuel on the Nutrisystem plan but I chose to stay completely away from it.

For me to eat bacon would be like giving an alcoholic a sip of wine. I also missed sitting down to a shared meal with my husband, but that has gotten better as he is fine with just a salad while I enjoy a healthy Nutrisystem pizza. Which is awesome by the way. I continued enjoying the Nutrisystem foods and never got tired of them.

I found ways to apply my vegetables to my meals in creative ways such as adding spinach or olives to my Nutrisystem pizza or adding spaghetti squash to my Nutrisystem meatballs. The options are never ending. Does Nutrisystem weekends off work? Yes, it does work. With this plan, I picked 20 days of meals instead of 28 which left me to defend for myself two days a week. To transition off of Nutrisystem, I needed to learn to apply my own foods to my diet that are equivalent to Nutrisystem meals.

It took seven months for me to reach my goal. I am so excited. I am convinced that Nutrisystem is more than a cute commercial. It really does work! It took a lot of dedication, determination and discipline to get where I am. It helps when you have support. Again, my husband has been my biggest support.

I have had a lot of positive effects from my weight loss so far. Instead she was surprised at my over all health. She asked me how I lost the weight and said she will be suggesting the Nutrisystem diet to her overweight patients. My vitals were perfect and my blood work results came back perfect except I was low on vitamin D.

One of the biggest concerns I hear from others about the Nutrisystem plan is the cost. Honestly, I said the same thing in the beginning, then I did the math. With Nutrisystem it goes to neither. There are ways to save on the cost. Do not let that first price you see when you go online shock you.

They are very nice and very knowledgeable. Here are some of the ways I saved. Having to pay for a diet is another way of motivation.

Oh, and here is another benefit of losing weight…. Extra large clothes are more expensive, too! Nutrisystem before and after. I no longer hide behind big clothes. I wore that bikini on the beach and have fun buying new clothes in a size 4!
